My best friend in high school and I drifted apart when she stayed here for college and I went to college in Ohio (Ok, really, that was the icing on the cake, she also decided her boyfriend was more important than her girlfriends and other issues). I've tried several times to revive our friendship, but she's been a giant wench about it. I saw pics on facebook of her the other day and didn't even recognize her (both physically and what she was doing was out of character).

Moved away and moved on. Plus, most of the idiots I went to high school with suck at life now even worse than they did then. ;)

And I just saw you have me on your blog roll-- SO SWEET! Thank you!!!Mariannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00844401897114561584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3459897865694500570.post-35554953586658605422010-11-22T18:57:16.334-06:002010-11-22T18:57:16.334-06:00So true. I now live about three hours from where I grew up (after a three year stint in Memphis) and every time I go visit I spend most of that time hoping I don't run into anyone I know. And, I constantly find myself rolling my eyes when I see some of my former "friends" posting on FB, doing the very same things we did back in the day.

Yep. Not for me.

Thanks for stopping by! People grow and change but with that growth, we find new friends and people who are more like who we evolve into:) But it is nice to have someone who knew you when.Truthful Mommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13418118155979582823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3459897865694500570.post-61571159973380018242010-11-22T11:24:43.281-06:002010-11-22T11:24:43.281-06:00Very true.
