I have the itches....

Well it's that time of year! The dry skin has set in and I'm going insane. My skin gets to the so dry you scratch it till you bleed dry. I don't know how to fix this. I'm gonna lose it! Yes, I do one of the biggest no no's and that is I take extremely  hot baths and showers, but I have to to feel clean. I put lotion on as soon as I get out of the shower/tub and still I end up itching like crazy. I have tried tons of different lotions, from really cheap to really expensive. I have tried oatmeal baths, and several other home remedies. So please if you have any ideas share them. I will try anything just to not have dry skin and itch like this anymore.

^ That is me, sitting here all day waiting for my sister to have my niece! They induced her at 7:00am this morning and here it is 8:12 and still Olivia Rose has not decided it is time to enter this world. This is going to be one stubborn little girl, who is going to always do things her own way. I have been patient all day and now, it is almost time for me to go to bed and still no new niece. Come on Olivia Rose just get here already!!!

Today at work we were talking about debating, one of my favorite things to do. However, there are topics that are untouchable w/ me and I just can't debate because I feel so passionately about my view and it's best that I don't talk about those. So my topics are abortion, animal cruelty/rights, religion, and child support. So without stating opinions, what are the topics you are very passionate about and nobody dare debate w/ you on?

Ok so now he's gone and done it. He has shown me a picture of a doberman that he says we can "talk" about getting. OK OK so now I'm so so so excited. The picture above is not of the doberman he sent me but it is one. I'm in love, I love them, they are beautiful dogs, and would serve the purpose of scaring someone should they try to break in. Oh please, oh please, do not let this be a sick joke of his because now I'm all excited and I want it! I LOVE dogs, and I want one for protection. I don't want a mean dog, just one that looks mean, one that would make a stranger thinking of breaking into my home, reconsider. Wouldn't that dog make you reconsider entering someones home w/ out their permission? So today I've been totally stoked and excited about it and waiting patiently (ok not really) to hear back from the person w/ the dog.
Today  went by way to quickly for me. Having one day off really sucks. I'm not ready to go back to work tomorrow. I feel like I didn't even get a chance to rest. Had to do laundry and clean, so where is my day off?!?! Hopefully this week will go by in a jiffy.

Hopefully next weekend I will be able to go do some Christmas shopping. Can you believe I haven't bought a single thing yet?! I am really slacking here. It's not that I'm not in the Christmas spirit, but being sick, then Thanksgiving the week after that and now three six day weeks in a row. I have to go next Sunday, I just have to. The worst part is, I have no idea what to buy them! I know Lexi wants a pair of boots, and a teddy bear, but that's all she's told me she wants. I have no idea what to get Braydon, what do 11 yr old boys like other than video games. I am so sick of buying him video games and I am determined to buy him nothing game related for Christmas but what? Maybe and Ipod....I was hoping for a TV but if I got the TV that would be about the only thing he would get. I like there to be lots under the tree, but it seems that the older they get the more expensive their stuff gets, and less stuff under the tree.

What a great surprise....

My dad came to see me today!!! I haven't seen him in about 4 months now and it's been killing me not seeing him, and today he came to spend the night. He will have to be back on the road tomorrow though. :( I miss seeing him more often.
I whined and complained a little more, ok a lot more today about getting a big dog. I just really really want one. I know we have 2 already, and they are the cutest sweetest babies, and I love them so so very much....BUT....they can't protect me. Guapo at 2 lbs. and Tequila at 6 lbs. aren't gonna be able to do much of anything if someone ever chose to break into the house. A big dog on the other hand could corner them for me until I remembered that we have guns in the house. Not only that, a big dog bark will scare someone off. Not always but most of the time. Grrrr...that's my big dog growl at my husband.
Work was ok today, nothing major happened. Not happy to have only one day off, but the over time will make me happy. My day off though, I get to spend cleaning and grocery shopping. Guess I'll have to find a way to make that a lot of fun.
I can't believe Christmas is just a few weeks away...wow it's coming so fast. I still haven't started Christmas shopping. I have no idea what to get my kids, when I ask them, it is always "I don't know." Pretty soon that is exactly what they are going to get from me. What do you get kids who already have everything. They've got TV's, video games, cell phones, digital cameras, DVD players, Ipods, stereos. What else is there to get?!?! I'm so stumped this year!

If I thought Monday was bad....

Yes, I was using this sign on Wednesday! If I thought Monday or Tuesday was bad, I learned a thing or two about a bad day at work on Wednesday. First of course, I can't get my nicotine in the morning when I get there w/ out someone coming out and bugging me. My shift doesn't start until 7:30 so why just because I'm there at 7:10 are you bothering me to do stuff. It's gonna get to the point where I don't start showing up until 7:29. I always have a smoke right before I walk in those doors. So Tuesday was pretty stressful because my supervisor who usually gives me a break wasn't there. That's ok I understand her daughter was sick, HOWEVER how hard is it to come and give me a 10 min break so I can smoke and use the restroom. I know, I know, smoking is a nasty bad habit, but it is my habit. So lunch time comes and goes and no lunch break...ok I can deal w/ that just as long as I can have 10 min to go and smoke.  So Wednesday morning comes, and my supervisor comes to me and tells me that it was said to her that when I am supposed to be filing I "disappear." Well now lets think about this one, the filing room is upstairs. So if I am UPSTAIRS filing and you never walk your ass up there to see me, or see what I am doing...how on earth do you accuse me of "disappearing." That my friend is not a me being as good as Evil Knievel, that is me upstairs doing my job!!!! I was really so pissed off, I hate, absolutely hate when people accuse me of doing somemthing that I'm not doing. If you are concerned that I am disappearing why wouldn't you walk upstairs to where the filing is done and see if I am indeed disappearing, or you are just being a nervous person fixin to ruin someone's job?!?!
So now work has pissed me off but I can deal w/ that, what I can't deal w/ is when I call my husband to complain or just whine (we all deserve to at some point) is that instead of some sympathy or just a little understanding, I'm told I need to get thicker skin. Thicker skin....kiss my a$@! So yeah, that one did not help my day any. What did help my day and make me feel better was the president of the company came in and said he thought I was doing a fantastic job. FINALLY! Someone who knows how to give a compliment!
So today was better though. My husband bought his jeep he's been dying to have for years and I've been ready to kick him in the ass for not getting one. We will be going to pick that up tonight when he gets home from work. I can only imagine how excited he is. Just wish I could get what I want now and have a big dog for protection. But egh...what does it matter what a woman wants, as long as they are taken care of and have what they want. Yes, that is me being a little, ok a lot, bitter because he won't let me get a big dog.
