My 1st Garden!

So we decided to try our hand at growing a garden this year. It's not a big garden since it's our first, but a garden none the less. We have tomatoes, jalapenos, poblano, banana pepper, red and yellow bell pepper.
My banana pepper...it's actually grown a lot more since I took this picture. The only one so far, but one means more right?
My little bitty jalapeno....isn't it so cute!
One of my many tomatoes that are growing.

I honestly didn't think that I'd be able to grow anything. I don't have a green thumb at all so yes, I'm really excited that it's growing.

  1. First gardens are always exciting, well actaully they all are :) Congrats on your first one!
Your tomato though, does it have blossom end rot? the picture shows some black (but not clear enough to tell) . If the bottom of it is black (looks like a nasty bruise) it's got the blossom end rot :( It's from irregular watering :( Not fun, and it does take alot of tomatoes from the same plant, but at least you can stop it from happening to the others before they grow! Hopefully that's not it, it's not clear enough in the pic. Best of luck from another gardener!!

  2. This year is my first year growing a garden and I get excited when I see new growth too! I also am growing an herb garden indoors in a couple thrifty coffee mugs that I found. Good luck!!

  3. Isn't it fun to see things grow that you planted yourself? I've always wanted to start my own garden just never have devoted the time to it.
