I just got invited....

to take care of $900,000.00 for a United States Marine Captain! He was kind enough to send me an email and say that he will trust me...yes ME to take care of his $900,000.00! Do you suppose that if I let him put it into my bank account then he will share a portion of it w/ me, because in his email he does not state that he will. Hmmmm.....

Work sucked today, as it usually does at the end of the month. I think I will start using vacation time for the last day of the month so I don't have to deal w/ the stress of it all. Then to drive home in the traffic, people cutting me off, others refusing to do the speed limit...it really is enough to make me lose my mind. I'm also sure that Heather really enjoys listening to me scream and holler at people. What do these people do? Do they stalk me to know my schedule so that they can get out there and make me angry? Isn't there some law that states when I am on the road all others should pull over to the right and let me by. Yes, that's it I need sirens and lights for the top of my car! Brilliant!
Well that's it for my Monday madness...the week is down hill from here. Just 5 more work days left! Just! I keep telling myself that.

New Addiction

Yep this is me (not really me) doing blog designs now! Thank-you Heather! I can't stop making them. It's so relaxing to me and one of those things that I really enjoy doing! So stop by and check out some of our blog backgrounds!
I'm sure if you ask Heather or myself will be glad to make you a banner that goes w/ the background.

Busy and sick weeks!

Oh the past 2 weeks have been a living hell! First the strep throat and ear infection, and then a abscessed tooth! I thought that tooth was going to kill me. A cortisone shot, antibiotic shot, and antibiotic pills for 10 days didn't kill the infection. A day after being off the pills my face swelled again and the pain set back in. Went back to the Dr and got 6 shots right in the rear! However the next day, the swelling was down and the pain isn't nearly as bad. So now I'm on antibiotics for the next 14 days.

We put the Christmas decorations up at work on Friday! Yay! I love Christmas!! I ended up staying over almost 2 hours to get them done. Who knew a 12 ft tree could be such a pain in the butt to put up, but it looks good and I'll get to enjoy it for a month. We could've gotten done earlier though if people would show up to work on time and I actually had time to help do them. As we are doing our decorations and putting the garland around, my supervisor keeps saying she's a "fluffer", I behaved and kept my chuckles to myself. Later in the day someone told her what a fluffer is (look it up if you dare and don't know) and so then they try to get me to fall in the trap of saying I was a fluffer. Haha...jokes on them, I'm a ChaCha guide, I know what a fluffer is.

Oh the pain!

What a horrible week! I've missed a week of work, and before Christmas...this is killing me. I had strep-throat, an ear infection and worst of all an abscessed tooth. I've been in so much pain since Tuesday. Today I have finally gotten some relief. The antibiotics must be starting to work, since my pain meds are actually giving me relief now.
I realized today that we don't have any real Christmas traditions as a family. That saddens me so much. We always had traditions growing up and now I have none, what the heck am I thinking? Traditions are so important for a family. So now I am thinking of new traditions to start.
Christmas is only 40 days away and well that's killing me. I haven't even started shopping. Every year I say I'm going to start early, and every year I never do. So here I sit tonight, looking for deals online. I do not do black Friday, I don't have the patience for all that. But I may try to see what deals I can find online. Thinking of it, man I do a lot of shopping online, but I can usually find good deals and free shipping.

Good day....

So aside from being really tired today, it was a pretty good day. I'm so excited to get the bathroom started and even more excited to see the finished project. I am hoping that Scott and I are able to do the bathroom upstairs. It wouldn't cost nearly as much for us to do it ourselves. I figure we could do it for under $1,000 that is of course assuming that we don't screw up a bunch. Well I don't know the price for everything, like drywall and all that stuff. I am going to take some before pictures and some after pictures. I wish I would have done that all through the house as we have improved it, and done new things.
This is my 6 day work week and while that really sucks to me, I will have the overtime and I will like that. It will help for Christmas and I should have over time on 2 more paychecks before Christmas.
Not much more that has happened today. Work was pretty uneventful, Mr P was in a good mood, and I got a lot accomplished. They did add 5 new reports for me to do in the morning. It is more work, but I guess that means they are confident that I can do it, and it will also give me something to do in the mornings. After I get the first 2 reports done, I sit there for a long time doing pretty much nothing. It makes for a very long day.

Wednesday: Grumpy tired day!

I am so exhausted this week, seems all I want to do is sleep. I'm fine for the first 3 hours of work and then I feel like my head is going to hit the desk. Knowing I have to work 6 days this week isn't helping me any either. I hate only having one day off!
The bathroom remodeling starts Monday, I can't wait for it to be done. Ha....they haven't even started yet and I'm already itchin for it to be done. We went shopping last night for the vanity and the tile. I got what I wanted...well almost. Damn Lowe's wouldn't change out the faucet that came with the vanity for me. I just wanted the other faucet really bad. Oh well, I got the vanity I want and the tile which is going to look so good. Today Scott went and got the vanity light, shower doors, and the shower fixtures. I think we are all done buying supplies now, except for the tub, we do have to buy that.
Work was pretty uneventful today, though after the day we had yesterday I couldn't be happier for such an uneventful day. It was slow, but still a little hectic with people being laid off and all.

Sunday: Happy Day!

Well I went to shopping today for groceries and stuff...I was so excited over the money I saved and the stuff I got. I think I did really well for my first time going out to Walgreens and CVS..see my 2 Savvy Savers blog for savings if you are interested.
Scott left at about 3 this morning to go to Talledega, so I had the house to myself...well sort of Lexi was here. He won't be back until tomorrow and though I miss him like crazy and hate sleeping by myself, I enjoyed it. He is great to me and I love him, but the break is nice. We had a fight Saturday, over food, oh the silly things spouses argue over. It lasted all of 10 minutes. I went to take a shower to give myself time to calm down before I said things that I didn't really mean (do that a lot), he came in while I was taking a shower (silly man) and kissed me and said he was sorry. I of to apologized, because it wasn't just him. I get upset over stupid stuff sometimes and make a dumb arguement into a big blow up. He is usually good at telling me I'm out of line and I'm really good at storming off for a little bit.

We will be getting our bathroom gutted and remodeled, I'm super excited about that. So Tuesday when we go on our weekly date we'll be going to a quick dinner and then to Lowe's and Home Depot to look at tubs, vanities and shower fixtures. The above vanit is the one I'm set on getting, hope he'll go for it. We live out in the country so I want to do my bathroom in a sort of country theme and I think this will fit in well. What do ya think? For shower fixtures I'm really pushing for a low flow rain shower head. I want to conserve water without giving up pressure, and I just really like those rain shower heads. I'm going for the brushed nickel ones. We are tiling the floors and around the tub. Gosh I'm so excited to get this done, I hate my bathroom. We are going to try to do Lexi's bathroom ourselves and if that is a success we'll be doing Scott's bathroom as well.
Once we get the bathrooms done we can work on getting the guest bedroom done. It really just needs to be painted, but I after all the painting we have already done, I don't want to look at a paint brush for a while. I'm gonna try to go out and take some more pictures that are country looking for the living room, if I get some good ones we'll hang them. I also want to hang family pictures on the accent wall in our living room. I think once we get all this done I will start to like this house more. My biggest complaint has been the bathrooms. I hope I remember to take before and after pictures and I will post them. Looks like once they start the work it will take between 4-6 weeks to complete, that part I'm not thrilled over since Scott's bathroom only has a shower stall in it and Lexi's is the same.
Ok I'm off to bed now to try to get some sleep. I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!!!
