Pour Your Heart Out

Again, just a brief reminder that everyone linking is pouring their hearts out and we should all be respectful in our comments. ;)

I contemplated long and hard about what I wanted to pour out to you. It seems that there are a lot of things I would love to just get out, but I know some people have access to my blog and there are things I don't want them to know. So today I tell you....
I hold a lot in. I hide a lot of things. Why? Because they are private, and scary to share. When I was younger, I really didn't care about people or what they thought. These days though, I hate being judged. Yes, the truth really does hurt, and sometimes it hurts more than people realize. Sometimes all I want is advice, not ridicule. I don't want to hear how horrible my decision was, I don't want to be judged on that decision, because in the end I have to live with it. If my decisions make me a bad person, then fine, step out of my life. Even worse to me is when they feel the need to tell everyone what they felt was a bad decision. What may be a bad decision to you, may be the right one for me. So if I beat my kids, go ahead judge me on it, because that would be a bad decision. If I choose to let my child do something you think is wrong, it may not be, I still monitor them and their activities very closely. So here's me judging....just because I allow my children to do something, because I do monitor them, don't judge my decision because you wouldn't allow yours because you don't have "time" to monitor them. I MAKE TIME!

  1. This is so true girl. Just because one decision is right for someone, it may not be right for another. We can't judge, we have to respect. Great post!

  2. I so feel what you are saying and we are the only ones that can decide what was a bad decision

  3. I always say - make the best decisions for yourself and your family, and the rest of the world can go to hell-o.

Trust me, as you get older (because I'm older than shit).....you really do stop giving a shit what some people think....because you learn to weed them out as insignificant. Those are usually the people who never have anything good to say. (I know a few of them.)

  5. I hate the judgement that comes with decisions that we make. Just because we decide differently than someone else does, it doesn't make our choice wrong and theirs right. We have to make decisions for ourselves.

    Thanks for linking up!

  6. So true! We all judge each other way too much and honestly, no one has the right to judge us but oursevles! And you are certainly not the only one who hides things- we all do. But there is nothing wrong with that. We are all allowed our personal secrets. : )

  7. I hate people who judge others, espically when it comes to lifestyle and parenting choices. Don't let others get you down. Do what you feel is best in your heart and mind.

  8. As far as I am concern people should not judge others. They don't have the right. They can make suggestions, but our life is our life and our decisions are our decisions....bad or good.I grew up with very judgemental mother and she still tried very hard to control many aspects of my life. I learned to ignore it, but it was very hard.Don't let them bully you.

  9. Judgmental @ssholes....that's why I've never participated in PYHO. I want to...but I really don't want to have to come thru my monitor and choke someone for passing judgment.

    Love you!

  11. If everyone just learn to respect other people's choice, then there is no need for judgment!

I agree with Marlene on making the best decision for yourself and family..

  12. people should keep their opinions and judgements to themselves!!

until you walk a mile in someone's shoes you have NO IDEA what you would do in their situation!

sorry you're having to deal with that
